Coding is the language a computer uses to think and act.  The main focus of basic coding is the development of working memory and improvement of problem solving.  Leerlinge in die grondslagfase moet digitale vaardighede ontwikkel wat dan in Graad 4 tot 9 uitgebrei word.  The TANKS coding programme introduces learners, with no internet access, to coding.  Daar is 35 vlakke waardeur leerlinge die robot met behulp van gespesialiseerde legkaarte, ‘n QR skanderingstoep en slimfoon, moet programmeer om voorgeskrewe bewegings uit te voer.  Learners master the basic coding concepts without needing expensive equipment. Alies, watch this space!
