Surfing

The following surfers have been selected to represent eThekwini Surfriders Association at the SA Junior Surfing Championships from 5 to 9 October 2022 at Lower Point, Jeffreys Bay: Nate Trickett, Nate Colby, Joel Trickett and Ben Ribbink. Ben is the captain of the team.

Jaxon Ribbink won the U16 section of the SA longboard champs in Jeffrey’s Bay.

Surf ski

Matt Coetzer and Ben Maehler placed 1st and 2nd respectively in the U18 section of the KZN Surfski Champs – Dolphin Coast Challenge.

Lifesaving

Luc O’Brien, Damien Angel, Sam Pearce, Luke Achmad and Matthew Coetzer have been awarded their Provincial Colours for Lifesaving.

Soccer

The following Clifton boys have been selected to the KZN soccer teams to tour Johannesburg from 6 to 9 October.

• Under 15:  Jesse Lubbe, Adrian Dippenaar
• Under 14:  Rocco Rocha, Ryde Brisset

Motor Racing

Shaun Futcher (Grade 11) participated in his first Motor Racing Event at Dezzi Raceway in his dad’s Lotus 7 race car. He completed both races without incident and finished in the top half of the field.
