Clarendon High School for Girls Water polo results This weekend the 1st water polo team participated in the St Peter’s tournament. It was a weekend filled with fierce and competitive matches where the players showed great courage and determination. 

The results were as follows:

• 1st Team Results

• Vs St. Peters won 10-2
• Vs Rustenberg won 6-0
• Vs Pretoria girls won 20-0
• Vs St Annes won 5-2
• Vs St Dominics drew 6-6
• Vs Chisipite won 10-2
•  Quarter final Vs DGC (6-6) won 3-2 on penalties
•  Semifinal Vs Crawford lost 5-12
•  3rd/4th Vs St Stithians lost 6-9

 This placed the team 4th overall. The players can be very proud of themselves the improvement and dedication is evident in the way the team plays.  Well done! 

The U15 water polo team participated in the Shaun Fuchs tournament host by Crawford Lonehill. It was an awesome weekend full of competitive water polo and lightning delays.  After two years of no competitive polo the team showed great grit and courage. 

Their results were as follows:

• CHS vs Herschel 2-0 (loss)
• CHS vs St Peter’s 8-2 (win) 
• CHS vs St Anne’s 6-3 (win)
• CHS vs St Mary’s 6-2 (win) 

 This placed the team 2nd in their pool. 

• During play-offs the results were as follows:
• CHS vs St Dom’s 9-7 (win) 
• CHS vs Reddam Constansia 5-6 (loss)
• CHS vs Roedean 2-2 penalties 2-3 (loss)
• CHS vs Pearson 9-5 

 This place Clarendon 7th overall.
