Cannons Creek Independent School ended Term 1 with a bang where pupils had fun on the waterslides; and staff and pupils enjoyed a Djembe Drumming Workshop. The drumming workshop, echoing 180 djembes, was capably led by Sebastian from Mobile Music Academy. “There are many musical and health benefits to drumming, but it was the sense of community that stood out the most. It was wonderful to see everyone join in the pulsating fun, synchronizing our own internal beat in a memorable way through music – an awesome end to a busy and productive term.” – Ms Gail Levitt, Head of Primary School Music.
