On Saturday 10 May 2025, Cannons Creek Independent School held a special Mother & Child Pilates session in honour of Mother’s Day on Sunday 11 May. The session was led by Booost Pilates’ Tercia Amsterdam, with her daughter Dana. The event aimed to reconnect and recharge moms and their children, whilst also sharing the gift of movement. The moms/guardians all received a special chocolate, handed to them by their child; and prizes were up for grabs for the best form, and best dressed. “Once again the school has opened its heart and created a wonderful mom and kids treat for Mother’s Day. The Pilates was fun, loads of giggles, the treats at the end were very generous, it was creative, and the ‘gees’ was uplifting. Thank you Cannons and the team for creating a great space to celebrate moms together.” – Ms Sarah Goldstein, parent.
