Bridges of spaghetti created at Glenashley Prep

The Glenashley Prep Grade 7 learners thoroughly enjoyed their recent Design & Technology project, where they were required to design and build a bridge out of spaghetti. The bridge had to carry a load across a gap, and had to meet certain constraints. Learners set up their bridges, and slowly added weights, to test their bridge. The Grade 7’s produced some excellent results, whilst learning about how different shapes can improve the strength of a structure.
