What a brilliant bunch of young men. They played an amazing 2023 season. This year’s boys have all developed with each other from u14, their spirit as a team is one that has been able to carry them through some challenging matches. Our Redham hockey tour where we came 4th, Easter festival we came 2nd, and our epic victory on Derby Day. The boys’ skills, personalities and love for the game and for each other grew leaps and bounds over this past season. We displayed some great wins throughout the season which has paved the way for the new team in 2024. I thank my Matrics for their devotion to the team, their school and to myself during their final year, and especially to my captain Nic, who kept a level head throughout the season and was a calming factor not only to me, but to the team as a whole.

As a team Hillcrest High School shared love, tears, blood, sweat, compassion, and sportsmanship. I could not be prouder than I am to have coached an awesome team such as ours. Thank you! Finally, I would like to thank our sponsors Aquelle, and the parents support throughout the season.
