What a privilege it is for us to congratulate the Global Leadership Academy Matric Class of 2021 with their National Senior Certificate results. For the tenth consecutive year, GLA achieved a 100% pass rate for grade 12. We applaud the class of 2021 for their tremendous effort to top our decade of offering grade 12 successfully, especially considering the various obstacles they faced over their last two years of school.

All learners did exceptionally well, with six learners achieving an average above 80%. average. Our top achievers were: Zoey Adlam, 93% average with 7 distinctions; Pietro Scheepers, 88% average with 6 distinctions, Hailey Kruger, 84% average with 6 distinctions, Catelin Plomaritis, 84% average with 4 distinctions; Anke Botha, 83% average with 5 distinctions; Bridget Ferreira, 82% average with 5 distinctions and Urselma Fourie, who just missed an “A” aggregate but still achieved 5 distinctions. In total, 60 learners matriculated with full Bachelors exemption. Top achieving subjects were Mathematical Literacy (73.2%), ENG First Additional Language (72.9%), Dramatic Arts (72.7%), Accounting (72.3%) and Tourism (72%).

We are thankful towards each and every teacher and parent who sacrificed in order for these learners to deliver the results they did. As a school, we honour and acknowledge God for his grace, love and provision, carrying us to this significant milestone. May each and every one of these learners experience the blessing of the Lord on all their future endeavours.
