Mr Kriel’s journey encapsulates not only the essence of  athleticism but also the spirit of resilience and dedication. During his visit, Mr Kriel shared how his love for rugby started at a young age when he used a bag of corn cobs as a tackler.

During his time as a professional player, Mr Kriel faced serious injuries that threatened to derail his aspirations and he remained resilient. He further shared about the hardships that he faced throughout his upbringing; his story left our teachers and learners feeling emotional. Mr Kriel left our learners with a motivating quote which stated, “Everything you want is on the end of fear.
