Dundee High School obtains 95.5% Matric Pass Rate. Congratulations to the Dundee High Matric Class of 2023.  These learners worked hard to obtain good results to start their new adventure.  We would like to congratulate the following top achievers: Zandisiwe Maphalala, Luzophakanyiswa Zulu, Mzokhona Mathebula, Anele Sethebe and Muhammed Bobat.

In total, 55% of the 2023 Dundee High matric class qualified for admission to university by obtaining a bachelor’s pass (Matric Exemption). The class of 2023 obtained 91 subject distinctions.  Of the 20 subjects offered at Dundee High, 11 had a 100% pass rate.  Subjects with distinctions were: ZULFA, LO, BSTD, AFRFA, ENGHL, EGD, MATH LIT, LFSC, MTECH, TRSM.

Results such as these once again confirm our school’s motto – “Strenuis Ardua Cedunt” – hard work is rewarded.  These results could only be achieved through hard work, not only by the learners but also by the dedicated educators of DHS and of course with the support of parents.  Thank you and congratulations to each learner, each parent, each educator and most of all thanks to our Heavenly Father who once again held His protective hand over our school and blessed many of our learners with good results.

Mr Smit – new principal of Dundee High School

We would like to formally congratulate Mr Smit as the newly appointed principal of DHS.  After a long period in an acting post, he has officially been permanently appointed and we are ecstatic to see to which heights he’ll lead us.  We would also like to congratulate Mr Kelbrick who has been formally appointed as Departmental Head of Sciences.
