This past weekend Epworth’s first squash team successfully defended its title as KZN champions, clinching victory at the KZN Girls’ Inter-schools Squash Tournament for the 33rd time. They have now earned a spot in the prestigious SA Top Schools Tournament, which will be held in August. Epworth School’s second team was equally impressive, causing massive upsets by beating both St Anne’s College and St John’s D.S.G. first teams to finish as runner-up in the A division. In the B division, Epworth’s third team battled hard to finish a respectable third, while the fourth team put in a fantastic performance to claim the runner-up spot in the C division.
