It’s official! York High School’s 1st Cricket Team are the SWD U19 Super League Champions for the 2025/2026 season.Congratulations to Ethan Botha (Captain) and his team on an outstanding achievement, as well as the coaching staff, Mr Travis Ackermann and Mr Hanno Janse van Rensburg, for their dedication and guidance throughout the season.

A special mention to Mr Jaco Myburgh, former 1st team coach, whose commitment and hard work laid the foundation for this success. Thank you to Mr Hoefnagels and Mr Terblanche for maintaining such a fantastic cricket facility, and to The Ugly Cup for the delicious lunches enjoyed by both our team and visiting sides at every home game.
