On Tuesday, 13 May 2025, Volksrust High School hosted Oosterland for an exciting afternoon of netball. Our teams showed great spirit and sportsmanship throughout all five matches.

• The U14 team put in a solid effort but lost 5-11, with Buhle Twala earning Player of the Match for her determination on court. The U15 team faced a strong Oosterland side and were defeated 18-2, with Sibogumusa Mkhaliphi recognised for her commitment and hard work.
• The U16 team delivered an excellent performance, winning 16-3, with Nyiko Madi named Player of the Match. The 2nd team dominated their game and secured a convincing 23-0 victory, with Asanda Manana shining as Player of the Match.

In the final match of the day, the 1st team played an intense and closely contested game, narrowly losing 32-34. Senamile Khumalo was named Player of the Match for her outstanding effort throughout the game. Congratulations to all our teams and a special well done to our Players of the Match! We are proud of your performances on home ground.
