The Volksrust High School’s golf team recently participated in the Mpumalanga playoffs held in Middelburg. This event brought together talented young golfers from various regional schools, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. Despite stiff competition, our school’s golf team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament. The team performed admirably, securing an impressive 4th place in the overall standings for Mpumalanga. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work put in by each team member, both on and off the course. A standout feature of our team’s performance was their strong sense of unity and camaraderie. Despite the pressure of competitive play, the learners stood together as a cohesive unit, supporting and encouraging each other every step of the way.
