Standerton, 26 January 2024 – The recent athletics competition hosted by Standerton High School witnessed outstanding performances, with Volksrust High School’s athletes making their mark. Luyanda Magubane, in particular, showcased exceptional talent by breaking the 200m record in Standerton with an impressive time of 21.6 seconds.

Participating schools included Standerton, Hoogenhout, Volksrust, Oosterland, Piet Retief and HTS Witbank. Volksrust High School extends heartfelt congratulations to all athletes who took part in this event.

The results reflect the dedication and skill of our athletes, with achievements across various categories. The final tally includes 11 5th places, 6 4th places, 9 3rd places, 10 2nd places, and 9 1st places. These remarkable performances are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our athletes and coaches.
