St Teresa’s Senior Primary School is proud to announce the outstanding gymnastic achievements of Emefa Afordofe (Grade 4). In recent gymnastics competitions, Emefa has demonstrated extraordinary talent and dedication, earning her top honours in multiple prestigious events. At the Central Gauteng District Championship, Emefa showcased her remarkable skills and determination, securing a Gold Medal with an impressive score of 36.35 points. Competing against gymnasts from eight different gymnastic clubs across the Gauteng Province, Emefa’s performance earned her a well-deserved second place in her age group. Following this achievement, Emefa represented Central Gauteng at the prestigious Gauteng Zone Gymnastics Championship at the end of May. Once again, she excelled by clinching another Gold Medal, this time with a score of 36.45 points. Her outstanding performance has qualified her to represent Gauteng at the upcoming National Gymnastics Championship, which will be held in Pretoria on 14-15 June 2024.

We wish her the best of luck at the National Championship and are confident she will continue to make us proud.”
