On Friday the entire Primary School at St Benedict School in Pinetown , from Grade RRR right through to Grade 7, enjoyed a Project Based Learning Day based on the upcoming Olympic Games. Each class chose a country, dressed up in the colours of that country and created the flag of their country. The morning started off in the School Hall where the Grade 4 pupils presented some facts about the history of the Games, as well as how the current Games work. The torch bearer then led the various teams out onto the field where each class showcased a different sport – everything from tug-of-war to “car” and wheelbarrow racing. Much fun was had by all and lots of learning happened too!
