St Andrew’s School for Girls’ Diving Team makes history at National Aquatics Diving Festival. St Andrew’s School for Girls’ Diving Team took the top spot at the National Aquatics Diving Festival, hosted this year by Springfield Convent School in Cape Town in January. This victory marks the first time in their participation that St Andrew’s has claimed the championship title at this prestigious event.
The team’s performance was highlighted by their dominance in the under-16 age group, where they secured an impressive 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finish. This accomplishment is all the more noteworthy, considering that schools were limited to entering only four divers per age category.
The National Aquatics Diving Festival, is a highly anticipated event in the school sports calendar, bringing together schools from across provinces for competitions in Diving, Swimming, and Water Polo. Participation is by invitation only, highlighting the prestige of the event and the quality of the competitors.
Congratulations to the St Andrew’s Senior School Diving Team on this monumental win – a testament to their dedication, skill, and teamwork.
