With 56 teams and over 170 junior debaters from across the Eastern Cape, Queen’s College High School  boys, composed mainly of Grade 8s, delivered an impressive performance at the Merrifield Junior Debating Festival!
They secured six Best Speaker awards:
– Yolani Dwadwa (2)
– Cody Lentoor
– Ascebise Kalipa
– Jonathan Makumbi
– Khayalam Bashe

Our teams also won six debates, with Team 2 (Zibula Mondi, Ascebise Kalipa, and Yolani Dwadwa) winning all three of their debates!
