Pecanwood College celebrates outstanding matric results

Pecanwood College is delighted to announce the distribution of the eagerly awaited 2023 Matric results on January 18. The school takes immense pride in the achievements of its students, and this year’s results are a testament to the hard work, dedication and resilience of the graduating class of 2023.
Principal Melaine Nainar expressed a congratulations to the Class of 2023, commending their unwavering commitment to academic excellence. She stated, “We are extremely proud of our students for their exceptional performance in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) through the Independent Examinations Board (IEB). Their dedication to their studies coupled with the guidance of our committed teaching staff and broader Pecanwood community has resulted in outstanding achievements.”
The results showcase the commitment of Pecanwood College to providing a nurturing and challenging academic environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. The school’s emphasis on holistic education, character development and critical thinking has undoubtedly contributed to the success of the graduating class.
The school achieved an exceptional 100% pass rate and an outstanding 98% Bachelor’s Degree (BD) pass rate. In a dazzling display of academic prowess, Emily Bryla has etched her name in the halls of victory at Pecanwood College. The recent matric results have catapulted her to stardom, making school history with a flawless score in mathematics. Not stopping there, Emily clinched 8 distinctions, boasting an impressive average of 91.85% and taking the Dux scholar position. Her love for numbers shone through as she secured the coveted IEB Top 1% in Business Studies, Mathematics, and Physical Science. This mathematical maestro also snagged an IEB outstanding achievement award. As if that weren’t enough, Emily, one of Pecanwood College’s Prefects: Head of Academics, has truly left an indelible mark to remember.
