Maragon Mooikloof is beaming with pride as the school celebrates its Class of 2024’s exceptional performance. The results, officially released on 13 January 2025, reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment of both the learners and the staff. The matric class achieved an impressive 100% pass rate, with a 95.5% Bachelor’s Degree pass rate and a 3.4% Diploma pass rate. Out of 89 students, the cohort delivered an extraordinary average of one distinction per candidate, with several learners excelling beyond expectations. Top achievers include:

  • Zoe Chilinkhwambe: 7 distinctions
  • Joshua Brinkhuizen: 6 distinctions
  • Emma Roets: 5 distinctions
  • Robert McGowan: 4 distinctions
  • Phomelelo Sekhasimbe: 4 distinctions

Principal Pierre Labuschagne shared his delight, stating: “We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2024 for their phenomenal achievements.” These results reinforces Maragon Mooikloof’s reputation as a school that prioritises academic achievement while fostering holistic development. The Class of 2024 has set a shining example for future cohorts, and their success will undoubtedly inspire others to aim high. The entire Maragon Mooikloof community celebrates this momentous achievement and extends its heartfelt congratulations to the matriculants, their families, and the dedicated educators who made it all possible.
