The Kingswood College 1st XV returned to winning ways against Woodridge on Saturday. Kingswood dominated from the outset and scored first through a driving maul from a line out. Kingswood scored a further three tries before Woodridge had a passage of play where they kept the ball through several phases which resulted in a penalty and an opportunity for Woodridge to get some points on the board.

Kingswood went into half time 26-0 up. With the start of 2nd half – Kingswood continued to dominate as they scored a further 36 unanswered points. Woodridge showed glimpses of what they were capable of, on a few occasions creating line breaks before the resolute Kingswood defence scrambled to ensure Woodridge never crossed the try line. Kingswood will host Nico Malan on 23 July for the final rugby fixture of the season.
