Tennis: On the weekend U15A and U15B Tennis girls played in a doubles fixture away against DSG. Our U15A girls quickly shook off their cobwebs and produced a marvelous performance winning the encounter by 3 matches to 1. This result bodes well for the rest of their season.

The U15B girls had a challenging fixture, but fought hard to be as competitive as possible.  In the end they lost the encounter by 4 matches to 0, but they can only grow from this experience and can be proud of their typical Kingswood fighting spirit. Well done to all the girls for a great round of tennis. The doubles teams:

U15A

  1. Emily Poultney & Onalenna Mokgosana
  2. Aeryn Putzier & Mia Oertel
  3. Anna Stocks & Kate Wilson
  4. Emma Pruissen & Hayley Van der Meulen

U15B

  1. Jenah Isaacs & Amber Isaacs
  2. Holly Elliott & Alande Maka
  3. Jessica Maree & Caitlyn Japp
  4. Iminathi Rungqu & Josepha Stolberg-Stolberg

Water Polo The DSG junior spring festival got underway on Friday the 8th of September. On the day, Kingswood College fielded a mixed U14 and U15 team to play matched against DSG and Glenwood House. The girls played well given the combination of the age groups, losing to DSG U14 2-4 and Glenwoodhouse 3-4. On Saturday the 9th of September, with all our players available, our age groups played in their more familiar teams. Our U15 team went unbeaten on the day, winning all 5 of their matches.

  • Vs Collegiate 8-1
  • Vs Hudson 8-3
  • Vs Glenwood house 5-0
  • Vs Woodridge 11-1
  • Vs Pearson 11-1

Our U14s had a much tougher draw with the majority of their fixtures being against U15 teams. They showed amazing determination and have grown as a team in this early part of the season.

  • Vs Woodridge 10-2
  • Vs Pearson 4-5
  • Vs Collegiate 2-6
  • Vs DSG 3-4
