Nr 1 in South-Africa! Our grade 9-11 learners took part in the Life Science section of the National Science Olympiad at the beginning of August. The final results are in, and Hermanus High School’s learners brought home 1 Gold and 9 Silver certificates!

Daniël van den Heever once again proved himself, winning the Olympiad Nationally! With a mark of 83%, Daniël was far ahead of the runners up (8 in second place) with 77%. For those who remember, Daniël went to Armenia in July this year, as part of the Life Science NSO team after finishing in second place in the 2021 olympiad.

Mia Slabbert (Grade 11) ended in the third position with 73%. Mia is also our current dux learner in grade 11 with an average of 98,29% in the third term. We are extremely proud of her and her dedication.
