Our small town athletes keep making their mark in the big league. After an almost 2 year absence from the track, two of Greytown High School’s boys used a combination of natural talent, hard work and dedication to prepare for and participate in this year’s KZN Junior Championship. The Champs were held at the Pietermaritzburg Athletics Stadium during the weekend of 3-6 March 2022. Asande Ngubane equalled his personal best of 1,85m for High Jump and Head Boy, Nkazimulo Mzolo, achieved his new personal best Long Jump of 6,40m. Both athletes were rewarded with second place in KZN in their respective events and a silver medal for their efforts. Well done, boys. You made us proud!
