Curro Durbanville learner Ewan Kruger (17 years old, Grade 11) achieved the following results in Fencing: 2024 South African Youth & Senior Championship, held in Cape Town (09 – 11 August 2024)

• Epee Men’s U17 Individual – 1st out of 42 competitors: Gold.
• Epee Men’s U20 Individual – 2nd out of 32 competitors: Silver.
• Epee Men’s Senior Individual – 13th out of 48 competitors. (Improved from 20th in 2023)
• Epee Men’s Senior Teams – 1st out of 5 teams: Gold
