St Mary’s School Waverley fencing ace, Nikita Form I, has been the top ranked under 13 and under 15 female fencer this year. During the August holidays, the second fencing nationals of the year was held in Cape Town. She made a calculated decision not to compete in the two younger age groups, but rather to take the opportunity to fence in under 17 and under 20 epee and foil events to gain experience. She achieved excellent results, winning the gold medal in all 4 of these events. An exceptional achievement. Congratulations Nikita!
