Elkanah House learners excel at the Big Bay Surf Lifesaving Annual Nipper Awards

A huge congratulations to Noah Kervarrec, Chase Sim, and Tyde Sim (Grade 7), learners of Elkanah House who were recently recognised at the Big Bay Surf Lifesaving Annual Nipper Awards — not only for their outstanding performances at Western Province and National level, but also for a number of exceptional individual honours. Noah was awarded Top U12 Boy in both Surf and Stillwater events and received the prestigious Marshall Trophy for the Most Improved Boarder 2025 — a remarkable achievement and a reflection of his dedication and progress this season.
Chase and Tyde were jointly awarded the Tom Carter-Hutton Trophy for Sportsmanship, in recognition of their selfless decision to help a struggling competitor rather than focus solely on their own race. They were also honoured with the Nipper Officers Award 2025 as members of the U13/U14 Team of the Year, celebrating their commitment and team spirit.
