Rugby Lions Trials

Congratulations to Hannah Shaw and Morgan Robertson from Edenvale High School. Both of them advanced through to the final round of Lions rugby trials. We wish them the best of luck!

World Record Holder Kyle Stephens

So exciting to see Kyle Stephens with Dr L Harmer, the principal of Edenvale High School, holding his official certificates to show that he has broken TWO GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS! What an absolute champion! Well done Kyle! Kyle holds the record for the youngest swimmer to complete a False Bay crossing and the fastest solo male crossing from Millers Point to Rooi Els.

Keegan Scholtz – RSA Colours

Congratulations to Keegan Scholtz who made the National South African Women’s Ice Hockey Team. She also received her National South African colours. Her and her team are currently participating in the 2022 IIHF Women’s World Championship Division 11 Group B in Croatia.

Tayla Du Plessis and Sarah Chetty – RSA Colours

Congratulations to Tayla Du Plessis and Sarah Chetty who received their South African National colours for synchronised figure skating. They received this when they represented South Africa in February this year in Switzerland. The team placed 4th amongst 6 countries that participated. They also placed 1st at the Nationals competition. Well done! This is a fantastic achievement.
