Durban Girls’ High School dancers Mika Ruiters and Phumelela Khwela have been awarded national colours by the Federation of Dance Sport South Africa. They travelled to the UK to participate in the prestigious UDO World Street Dance Championships where they achieved impressive results. Phumelela is a World Champion, having placed 1st in the u.16 Intermediate Duo and 4th in the under 16 Intermediate Solo. Mika placed 4th in the under 16 Intermediate Duo.
