Three members of Dundee High School‘s community, Mr Blom, Mrs Carter, Mrs Edwards and Mrs Venter, proudly completed the iconic Midmar Mile during the weekend, showcasing determination, endurance and true sporting spirit. A special and well-deserved congratulations goes to Mrs Venter, who achieved an extraordinary milestone by successfully completing her 25th consecutive Midmar Mile. This remarkable accomplishment stands as a testament to her grit, discipline and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Mrs Venter’s achievement not only reflects years of dedication to open-water swimming, but also highlights the powerful example she sets for learners and colleagues alike. Her passion for healthy living and her refusal to shy away from a challenge continue to inspire the entire school community. The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to all four swimmers (and some of our learners!) for representing the school with pride and determination. Their success is a powerful reminder that perseverance and commitment can lead to truly exceptional achievements.
