In spite of the blistering winds which greeted the Central Berg on Saturday morning and overcast afternoon skies, the stars sparkled in the setting sun in the form of the 19-year-old Dutch Soprano, Amira Willighagen and the Drakensberg Boys Choir (DBC) in concert at the Berg Air Lifestyle Centre Festival.

Enthralled patrons enjoyed an array of musical genres with the majestic Ukhahlamba Mountains providing a perfect backdrop for the powerhouse collaboration. Amira and the Drakensberg Boys Choir previously performed together at the DBC’s, Christmas in the Berg Festival in 2018.
