Curro Thatchfield’s Teen Beauty takes on the World

Mosa Nkwashu, a Grade 10 learner at Curro Thatchfield High School, will be representing South Africa at the International Junior Miss 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Orlando, Florida in the United States of America from 18 to 27 November 2022. The International Junior Miss Scholarship Programme has been organised to encourage positive achievement by helping to develop and strengthen self-awareness in the youth of today.

Mr Danie van Schalkwyk, Executive Head of Curro Thatchfield High School said, ‘Mosa is the embodiment of a well-rounded young woman. Over and above the massive honour it is to represent her country, she does well in her academics and is an avid netball player. To top it all off, Mosa can be seen in the SABC1 TV show “Skeem Saam”. Curro Thatchfield wish Mosa all the best and I am sure she is going to bring the crown back to South Africa!’
Mosa previously won the Grand Prix Supreme at the 2018 Festival Model and Talent Festival World in Antalya, Turkey, where she represented South Africa. She also holds the Miss Southern Hemisphere crown for 2021. A few of Mosa’s other big titles include Miss Intercontinental South Africa Senior Grand Supreme 2019, Miss Supranational Young Grand Supreme 2019, Miss Grand South Africa Young Grand Supreme 2019, Miss Teen Gauteng 2019 as well as International Junior Miss South Africa Teen.
