Our very own Siyabonga Khumalo traveled to Germany with 22 soccer players of various ages during the December school holidays. Siyabonga was the youngest among the group. Siya is an immensely talented youngster with aspirations of playing overseas in his future. He plays with the SuperSport United Academy. The 22 soccer players visited various football clubs in Germany, where they trained with a number of well-known and influential football coaches and players. The team visited the following clubs: FK Pirmasens, Mainz, FSV Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Karlsruher SC, SV Waldhof Mannheim, and Hauenstein. Siyabonga was honored to receive a soccer jersey from FSV Mainz 05. It was truly the trip of a lifetime!
