Top Achievers Set To Explore The USA!

In October, two groups of top achievers will embark on academic tours of UK and Ireland and the USA. The UK & Ireland tour participants are Wasanga Dinga, Lwandile Bhengu, Alfa Pato and Slondiwe Ndwalane and the USA tour participants consist of Cejay Naidoo, Zowakha Mthuli, Keegan Peterson, Arnaav Luckraj and Olwethu Mbili.  Our Executive Head, Mr. Coetzee, will be the chaperone for the USA tour. These tours, organised by Travel and Sport, offer a blend of academia and adventure. It’s an honour for these learners to be invited to participate in this tour, as they qualified for the opportunity back in 2022.

Nkosi sikalel iafrika!

The Pre-primary children have been learning all about what it means to be proudly South African. They discussed the Rainbow Nation, and the many cultures and people. The children learned about the national emblems, and they even took turns greeting each other in all 12 official languages! The children also learned the National Anthem as well as a rugby war cry. Most importantly, the children learned about the beautiful diversity of the country we call home and of course we talked about the Boks’ win last weekend!!

Group 5 learners pictured: Ellen Owusu, Hudson Puren and Yahya Essop.
