From Classrooms to careers: Crawford La Lucia’s Class of 2025 marks a defining moment. Today marks a proud and joyful moment for the Crawford International La Lucia community as the Matric Class of 2025 receives its results and celebrates the culmination of years of commitment, growth and perseverance.
The cohort of 99 students achieved a 100% pass rate, with 97% qualifying for Bachelor’s Degree study and the remaining 3% achieving Diploma passes. On average, each student earned 3.19 distinctions per candidate, reflecting consistent performance across a challenging academic programme. Principal Cal Warwick congratulated the class on both their results and the people they have become during their time at the school. “These young people arrived here in 2021 already capable and ambitious,” Warwick said. “What they have shown since then is adaptability, courage and a strong sense of what matters to them. This is the moment to let go of the pressure and the comparisons, and trust that you are exactly where you need to be.”
Among this year’s standout achievers is Manzil Harikaran-Giandev, who attained an exceptional 11 distinctions, including Further Studies Mathematics (Extended) and Further Studies Physics. He also achieved a perfect 100% in Engineering Graphics and Design, highlighting his technical skill alongside academic excellence. Other top performers include Shyla Jithoo with nine distinctions, followed by students achieving eight distinctions: Ethan Desmond, Leoni Govender, Priyanka Hariparshad, Liam Kidd-Anderson, Sanjana Rajkaran, Erin Ogilvie and Keira Naidoo.

College Top 3
Students earning seven distinctions include Rhyah Balliram, Kirthavia Chetty, Carel Gosnell, Weien Amy Luo, Kyra Moodley, Hiranya Pillay, Gauri Sharma and Shayl Vallabjee, while many others also achieved six distinctions, a testament to the depth of achievement across the class. National recognition was also awarded to Manzil Harikaran-Giandev and Sanjana Rajkaran, who each received IEB Outstanding Achievement Awards for ranking in the top five per cent nationally across six or more subjects.
Beyond the impressive academic outcomes, the Class of 2025 is celebrated for its spirit, its sense of community, resilience and willingness to support one another through the demands of senior school.“Their curiosity, compassion and courage will carry them far,” Warwick added. “These results matter, but the people behind them matter even more.”Crawford International La Lucia congratulates every member of the Class of 2025 and wishes them every success as they step into their next chapter.
