Christ Church Prep and College Grade 6 Mould Study. In Natural Science, the Grade 6 pupils have been learning about the ideal conditions for mould to grown on food. Pupils placed a slice of bread into a ziplock bag for five days.  One sample was left in a dark environment, while the second sample was left in a light environment.

Pupils learned that micro-organisms are everywhere and this cause food to perish. The conclusion of the experiment showed that a clean environment is necessary for handling and storing food, thereby ensuring that mould is not a factor. Well done Grade 6!
