Cannons Creek Independent Primary School fielded four Netball teams against local neighbouring school, Pinehurst Primary School on 31 July. Three of these teams were victorious – U.9s won, U.10s won 4-0, U.11s lost 3-5, and U.12s won 7-3. Player of the Match awards were given as follows: Khanyisile Ncwana (U.9) for her commitment in defense, and for her ability to intercept passes, Kaboentle Mathe (U.10) for fierce defence and solid play, Rae Dorasamy (U.11) for her relentless attacking play and crucial contributions to the team’s success, and Mia-Rae Hopley (U.12) for her improved shooting and overall gameplay.
