BSI Junior Academy Player of the Month – March
Congratulations to Connor Olfsen who was voted as Kupe Active Junior Division Player of the Month – March.Connor secured victory during the US Kids Golf tournament, played at Serengeti Golf Estate and a T7 position at the US Kids Golf tournament at Magalies Park Golf Course. Connor has won 2 x BSI medal tournaments and has a Stroke Average of 73. Well done, Connor!
BSI College Player of the Month – February
Well done to Keegan du Plessis who was voted as the Kupe Active BSI College Player of the Month for March. Keegan has won 1 BSI medal tournament and a T55 position during the CGGU 2025 Cobra/Puma Northen Amateur Open played at CCJ. Keegan has a great Stroke Average of 71. Well done, Keegan!

BSI Premier Division 18-hole medal
Congratulations to Gilbert Chalwe, for his win in the BSI Premier Division 18-hole medal on Friday 28 March, with a 3-under par 69, played at Royal Johannesburg – West Course. Gilbert has truly shaken off his injury woes of 2024 and is showing this year that he is fit and strong to contend at the highest level. Great going Gilbert, it’s good to see you playing more consistently.
BSI Junior Academy 18-hole Medal
Well done to Connor Olfsen, on his win in the BSI Junior Academy 18-Hole medal, with a 2-over par 74, played at Royal Johannesburg – West Course on Friday 28 March. What can be said about Connor’s start to 2025, but “amazing”. This man has shown the rest of his peers that through dedication, commitment and trust to the process, will bring results. Amazing and astounding, for nine wins already in 10 outings!!

BSI SRIXON JUNIOR TOUR – EKURHULENI GOLF UNION
Thank you to all the players and parents who came out to play in the BSI Srixon Junior Tour in conjunction with the Ekurhuleni Golf Union at Reading CC on Sunday 30 March. Unfortunately, 20 minutes after our last group teed-off, the event had to be cancelled due inclement weather conditions and the course closing shortly thereafter as it was unplayable. This tournament will be rescheduled by the EGU, so please look out for the new rescheduled date and another day of great golf, prizes and friendships made on the course.

ROAD TO GDL
We are excited to be competing in the SAFA Gold One Development League for the 2025 season at U13, U15 and U17 age groups.
The league provides promotion into GDL2, with competing in the prestigious GDL academy league as a key long-term goal of ours. The Gold One League commences on 5th April, and we are still seeking players at U13, U15 and U17 to bolster the squads.
