ANHS Netball girls represent on Provincial level! Five of Aliwal North High School’s Netball players took part in three different SASN. Netball tournaments during this holiday: All Ages U12 – U16 held in Boksburg, Winter Games for an Elite U14 team held in Stellenbosch and Telkom Junior Champs U17 – U19.

Thato Simon, Lukhanyo Nkomana and Ima Mdwaba took part in the All Ages Tournament held in Boksburg. Lesedi Lada took part in the All Ages Winter Games held in Stellenbosch and Bohlokwa Tsemane took part in the Telkom Junior Champs held in Witbank Mpumalanga. We are very proud of each one of them. They gained a lot of experience that will be of high value when returning and playing for their school teams again.

Mrs. Petro Makkink, Head of Netball for Aliwal North High School and first team coach, was chosen as a coach for one of the two U18 Eastern Cape Provincial Netball teams at the Telkom Junior Champs held in Witbank this year.Well done to you all!
