Abbotts College Pretoria East is thrilled to announce the release of the 2024 matric results, showcasing the hard work and dedication of its students and educators. The college has much to celebrate, with remarkable achievements across various subjects and an impressive array of distinctions. Among the stars of this year’s cohort is Janelle Rylee Rajagopal, who earned a stunning six distinctions in Afrikaans First Additional Language (85%), English (88%), Life Orientation (91%), Life Sciences (84%), Mathematics (82%), and Engineering Graphics and Design (80%).

Other high achievers include:
• Kay-Line Haylee Power: Three distinctions in Afrikaans FAL (88%), Life Orientation (82%), and Tourism (88%).
• Ayanda Ntombizonke Onthatile Ngoloyi: Three distinctions in CAT (81%), English (82%), and Tourism (90%).
• Kean Zezef Buyst: Two distinctions in IT (89%) and Mathematics (83%).
• Hailey Emma Claassen: Two distinctions in Life Orientation (81%) and Mathematical Literacy (85%).
• Kiminu Monique Makouana: Two distinctions in Life Orientation (81%) and Tourism (83%).
• Tumisho Bhekiswayo Matsiu: Two distinctions in IT (81%) and Life Sciences (81%).

Special recognition goes to Kay-Line Power, whose exceptional progress saw her improve her Tourism score by 31%, Mathematics by 14%, and Life Sciences by 10%. Principal Leandri Fick expressed her pride in the students’ accomplishments: “Congratulations to the Class of 2024 for their incredible results. Your perseverance and commitment have truly paid off.
