A vibrant start to Holy Family College Term 4 Celebrations and Achievements

At the Term 4 Opening Assembly on Tuesday, 10 October 2023, Principal, Mrs. Collings, warmly welcomed both staff and learners back to school. A heartfelt gratitude was extended to the dedicated teachers and talented learners who orchestrated and participated in the memorable Heritage Day concert on Friday, 22 September. Their hard work and creativity truly shone through, leaving an indelible mark on our school community.
Mrs. Collings also took a moment to applaud the exceptional achievements of those who took part in the Tournament of Minds – SA. Their outstanding results were a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence. Additionally, a nod of appreciation went out to the participants of the Chess Tournament against Eden Schools Durban, who displayed commendable sportsmanship and skill. Between 21-24 September, our learners embarked on an enriching Sports Tour to Holy Family College – Parktown. They exemplified pride and camaraderie, showcasing the true spirit of our institution. The assembly concluded on a celebratory note with special birthday wishes extended to Mrs. MacMinn, fondly known as Gogo Dot, as well as Aunty Mildred and Uncle Goodman. Their presence enriches our school family, and we wish them joy and happiness. Mrs Collings encouraged learners to approach Term 4 with enthusiasm and determination and wish our Grade 12 learners well as they prepare for the Matric Finals.
