Volksrust High School had its first Civvie day of 2022 on the 4th of February! It was a big success as the majority of the learners took part in it. The theme of the day was twins, triplets, quadruplets etc. It was pretty interesting to see the school grounds filled with people dressed the same and some even looking the same if you paid close attention!

As the slogan of our school goes: NOT FOR ONE BUT FOR ALL, this was not only for the learners. At Volkies everything we engage in involves everybody. We had teachers who took part and actually made this more interesting. It is always encouraging to see our teachers showing inclusiveness as this is a hint motivating to the learners.

The day was filled with beaming smiles and happy memories, which were once again captured by the one and only Miss Nicole Magudulela. The EC would like to thank the enthusiastic teachers who led the way, Miss Magudulela for the photography, and everyone else who took part and showed Volkie guts. We hope and believe this was a start to more successful Civvie days yet to come.
