The Lady Grey Arts Academy Music Department Gets A Face-Lift. This lovely art work was done by Mr Viljoen Mathee, the art teacher, Katleho London and Simangaliso Ngcangca. The wall, that they painted, is a very old wall and the picture that was on the wall started to disintegrate. The music teacher, Mrs Marilena Jordaan, asked if her students want to fix the mural and Simangaliso took the lead.
According to Simangaliso, the reason why they decided to refresh this work of art is to give it a new and fresh look because they wanted to bring it back into the modern timeline from the 20th century to the 21st century.
They added their hard work, blood, sweat and tears into it to make it look better than it did in its prime time. Simangaliso, who is a Music and Visual Arts student, was the head of this project and he asked Katleho, who is a Drama and Dance student, to assist him in this glorious work of art and they both did it with joyful loving hearts. They still continued to work hard even though they also had to focus on their exam practicals for their art subjects. Simangaliso also added that they are proud to be in the Lady Grey Arts Academy and to have left a mark that will be remembered for years to come. A big thank you to Mr. Mathee for assisting the enthusiastic students.

Mr Mathee, Katleho and Simangaliso
