Stulting Primary Gr 3’s embrace their masks

Stulting Primary School Grade 3’s have EMBRACED their masks! We kicked off by celebrating our first two weeks of Grade 3 by creating our very own Covid-19 self-portraits. At school we focused on the theme “This is Me” so this activity was great as we got to share about ourselves through our art. It was back to school and back to wearing our masks full-time, and this craft was the perfect little reminder. Although we were all covered up, there was still something incredibly special behind each of our masks. As our Grade 3’s shared with us, they’re fun, kind, cute, lovely, smart, cool, funny, awesome, happy, helpful, and so, so much more!

These precious children reminded us that there are real, beautiful people behind all of our masks and although we may not like wearing them all the time, we can choose to see beyond the masks and focus on the people behind them.  We absolutely loved completing this hands-on activity with our new Grade 3’s and we couldn’t be more prouder!
