On Saturday, 16 November, St Teresa’s Junior Primary School in Craighall Park hosted a delightful orientation morning for our incoming 2025 pupils and their parents. The event was a warm introduction to school life, where families had the opportunity to meet teachers, explore classrooms and playgrounds, and connect with new classmates.

The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and joy as parents and pupils discovered our vibrant learning spaces and shared the excitement of starting this new chapter.”We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels excited to begin their learning journey,” said Mrs Lynne Elfick, St Teresa’s Junior Primary School principal. “Having an orientation morning is a vital part of that process, allowing new pupils and their families to feel connected and at home before the new year begins.”In a special addition to the morning, our beloved Rosebuds transitioning to Grade 0 were also invited to join in the fun-filled morning. Seeing their familiar faces alongside our new families highlighted the sense of continuity and community that makes our school so special.
