Pinnacle Colleges, a renowned ADvTECH school’s division, is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of its eighth campus, Pinnacle College Ridge View, set in the vibrant community of Radiokop in the West Rand of Johannesburg. The eagerly awaited high school is scheduled to welcome its first cohort of Grade 8 and Grade 9 students in January 2025.

With an unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch academic education paired with a dynamic extramural offering, Pinnacle College Ridge View is poised to become an educational cornerstone in the West Rand. The school’s focal point will be on action sports, featuring state-of-the-art facilities for indoor hockey, netball, and basketball, ensuring a holistic development approach for its students.

Christo de Wit, Chief Operating Officer of Pinnacle Colleges, and the visionary behind Pinnacle College Ridge View, expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture, stating, “We are pleased and excited to be opening the eight Pinnacle College – Pinnacle College Ridge View – in Radiokop in 2025. This high school is a much-needed addition to schooling on the West Rand and will offer a top-quality academic education in tandem with an extramural offering focused on action sports like indoor hockey, netball, and basketball.”

The construction of the school’s facilities is progressing seamlessly, with the sports arenas and academic buildings scheduled for completion in December 2024. This commitment to timely delivery ensures that Pinnacle College Ridge View will be fully operational and ready to welcome its inaugural students for the start of the 2025 academic year.

The campus is designed to foster a conducive learning environment, with modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and dedicated spaces for arts and cultural activities. The sports facilities, an integral part of the school’s vision, will provide students with opportunities to excel in their chosen disciplines and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership.

Pinnacle College Ridge View will follow an Independent Examinations Board curriculum that will blend academic excellence with a focus on cultivating well-rounded individuals. The extramural programs will not only cater to sports enthusiasts but will also include a variety of clubs and societies to encourage students to explore their interests beyond the classroom.

As Pinnacle Colleges continues its tradition of excellence, the Ridge View campus is set to uphold the institution’s values of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. The school aims to nurture the potential of each student, preparing them not only for academic success but also for the challenges and opportunities that await them in the future.

Pinnacle College Ridge View invites prospective students, parents, and the community at large to join them in shaping the future of education in the West Rand.
