Paul Roos Gymnasium golfers proudly competed in the Zimbabwe Junior Open for the first time, with each team made up of three players. PRG’s first team finished in 1st place, while our second team claimed 2nd — a remarkable achievement on debut! Tynan Vermeulen was selected to represent the Golf RSA team, which finished 3rd overall in the tournament. Andries van der Vyver delivered a standout performance, winning the individual title with an impressive score of -11 over three rounds. Gideon Fourie secured 6th place, followed closely by Alex Frankel in 7th and Evan Marais in 8th — all finishing in the top 10 out of 62 players from various countries, including members of Golf RSA and other national squads.
