Paul Roos Gymnasium and Stellenbosch University have entered into a partnership to grow the existing Maties Hockey Astro complex. A third astroturf was commissioned and built to enhance the offering at the complex. This joint venture will prove to be beneficial not only for the SU’s hockey programme but also that of PRG and the community as it will give more players a chance to hone their skills on the world-class astroturf. The addition of the third turf will also make this the only facility in the country with three turfs of international standard. We believe this is a partnership that will continue to be mutually beneficial for many years to come.We would like to extend our sincere thanks to key role players at the SU and PRG as well as donors who made this dream a reality.
