Recently relaunched into the Southern African market, Olympic has proudly signed as the footwear and apparel partner of South Africa’s most iconic school’s track and field athletics series, the Twizza Super School Series!

Although dating back to its establishment in 1918, Olympic has relaunched into the South African market in a big way – with an exciting and newly invigorated line of sports footwear and apparel.

“We are both excited and proud to partner with SA’s most exciting school’s athletics series, the Twizza Super School Series,” says Gary Van Rooyen, Managing Director of Olympic. “Not only will we be able to introduce our brand to SA’s most influential market, the youth, but we will also be able to join these incredible athletes on their journey to becoming the stars of tomorrow. Our sponsorship of this series allows our brand to interact with the young athletics achievers in South Africa.”

Van Rooyen adds: “Olympic has undergone an exciting transformation and offers South Africans an excellent branded product at an affordable price. The ‘new look’ Olympic brand boasts a footwear and apparel range that includes all the latest internationally recognised ‘performance improving’ attributes, while being backed up by an international quality assurance system. The brand prides itself on bringing new products to life that include ‘new tech’, while being easily affordable.”

The Olympic team will have a strong presence at this coming Saturday’s (19 February) Twizza Super School Series National Final at the Ruimsig Athletics Stadium (Roodepoort)

Top schools that will be seen battling it out for the coveted title of SA’s best athletics school will include: Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool (Affies), Menlopark High School, Prestige College, Paarl Boys High School and Oakdale Agricultural High School (in the Boys’ Team Category). Leading Girls’ teams to look out for will include: Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool, Menlopark High School, Prestige College, Helpmekaar Kollege, La Rochelle Girls’ High School, Paarl Girls’ High and Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof to mention just a few.

EVENT INFORMATION:  Twizza Super School Series National Final

Launched in 2019, the Twizza Super School Series has very quickly become a highlight on the schools’ athletics calendar and has one clear goal in mind – to crown SA’s best athletics school! There can be only ONE WINNER! The winning school will take home bragging rights for one year!
